Its dual motors provide powerful cleaning power. The dustbin can be removed and emptied without fuss which is beneficial since you'll have to do it frequently.

It's also easy to set up, although I recommend fully charging the X8 Hybrid prior to running it for the first time. You'll have to install the Eufy Home app and follow the instructions to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. Once you've done this the app will assist you create a precise map of your home. You can name rooms or divide large spaces into smaller rooms (good for open plan living) and guide the X8 Hybrid to specific areas that need cleaning at the time of. Eufy's app is more intuitive and refined than other robots with similar scanning and mapping functions.

One of the best features on the X8 Hybrid is that you can activate the mop or vacuum with your voice, thanks to integration with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. This is a wonderful feature that makes the robot hands-free. It was a success in our test home.

Like other robotic Cleaner and mop vacuums, the X8 Hybrid has some issues with bare floors. It may miss fur and small items and tends to bump things, such as its charger on the charging platform. It's also not as quiet as some other models we've tested and the whirring noise can be distracting.

Roborock V3S pro

This robot isn't as feature-rich as some of the more expensive models we tested however, it does have all the basics. It has a large enough dust bin that can hold plenty of dirt before it needs emptying, robotic Cleaner and mop and its vacuum and mop system is perfect for hard floors and low-pile carpets. It's also extremely quiet, and we were able to watch TV while it was cleaning without feeling like it was blazing us with the sound.

Our test subjects were extremely impressed by how easy the machine was to use and set up. They also loved the ability to clean all the mess from their flooring. It also did a excellent job of removing pet hair and messes on carpeting, although it wasn't as successful in tackling stubborn stuck-on staining. The app was simple to use and user-friendly. It was able to set up the vacuum to clean regularly to reduce the amount of manual work. It doesn't include the ability to avoid objects or map technology, which means it cannot be used to send specific rooms or follow virtual boundaries (though magnetic boundaries can be used).

It's also very quiet and has a large dust bin that can hold lots of debris before it has to empty, so you don't have to worry about constantly emptying it.

The V3S Pro did not make it onto our top choice lists from trusted sources who test hands-on, but it was praised by Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. The V3S Pro was easy to use and set up, however the battery life was not long.

You can also set up virtual barriers to ensure that the robot isn't in certain areas and ensure that it only cleans certain types of floors.
